If you home is older than a few years old it's likely not as efficient as it could be. Things like windows, doors and insulation could be checked and upgraded to make sure your house is staying cool in the summer and warm in the winter. If you have an old furnace, you could be spending far more than you need to on gas or oil and you might want to consider changing it. Even though it may be expensive to change, you will notice the savings when you add a high efficiency furnace.
