Don't Gamble. You'll probably save more money than you'll ever win!
This seems obvious, but many unemployed people and those with money issues actively play the lottery or gamble at a casino. Sure there's the chance that you might win the big one, but the chance is so slim it's not worth it, in fact there is such an infinitesimal difference in the odds if you buy 1 ticket a week or 10 that it’s just not worth spending the extra money. You may as well just have the one ticket. Even if you spend £10 per week on the lottery, it may not seem like much, but that's over £500 in a year, which could be used for many other things like food or rent payments.
