Keep Snacks With You to avoid junk food and save money.
No matter what you are doing, whether it's shopping, driving the kids to a sports practice or heading between work appointments, keeping snacks handy is a good way to save money. Often we don't feel like an entire meal, but in the middle of the day it's nice to have a snack. For those that don't carry snacks it means a visit to a convenience store or fast food restaurant to buy something unhealthy and overpriced. Before you leave home, take along an apple, crackers or a cereal bar.
