Rent Movies

Instead of buying a movie on DVD or going to the movie theatre to see a new movie, wait until it's out on video in your local video store and rent it. Renting a video costs about 1/5th of the cost of buying it and if we are honest with ourselves, we seldom watch movies that we buy more than once. Watching the movie at a theatre is the most expensive way to see a movie. By the time you buy some popcorn and soda, a night at the movies is very expensive and easily costs 10x more than renting the movie. You just have to learn to wait for the movie to come out on video!
