In the past, some sellers used to sell items at a penny and charge huge shipping costs, above and beyond the true postage and handling costs to make a profit with the postal charges. They did this to avoid eBay fees, because fees aren't charged on postage. Ebay got wise to this and started to crack down on people doing this and even stipulating free shipping in some categories. All good news for us! Simply, it means that we can now buy stuff for a penny and not get ripped off for postage. Great for us!
